1940's /1950's Beautiful Green , the green has a little more blue than photo shows , black print. Rayon silk dress. Wide pointed collar. Elbow length sleeves. Natural waist line. 7 nickel size black velvet buttons for closure in front. Skirt has 4 pleats in front, fuller than an "A" line. Lower calf length. Dress is missing the belt. Slight underarm discolor under the left arm not noticeable when worn. 44 inch bust, 36 inch waist , hips free and 46 long from shoulders to hem. 1950's Black and white rayon blend dress. Round neck with a slash front, no collar. Elbow length sleeves. The dress has a yoke of white like fabric and black appliqué leaves. This pattern also goes down the left side of the dress to the left hip. On the appliqué's are tiny black beads. The rest of the dress is black. Natural waist line, Straight style skirt, lower calf length. Side metal zipper. 2 Kicks in the back at the hem. 1940's off white silk blouse. Cap sleeves. round neck with string ties. On the front of the blouse on each side of the opening are off white on off white embroidered flowers with open centers. Out side the embroidered panels on each side is a trim of 1/8 inch lace. This blouse has one small water stain below the waist, it's about the size of a dime. 1940's Very pretty Navy and white rayon tweed dress. High round neck, just above elbow length sleeves back metal zipper. Dress loose fitting natural waist line. A little more than "A" line shape skirt, with 2 pleats on each side in the front. 6 navy buttons at the top holding the pleats stationary below the buttons the pleats are loose fitting. 1960's light blue gown, Taffeta lined. with an overlay of light blue chiffon. The chiffon on the bodice and sleeves of the dress has pink flowers and green leaves. The flowers are out lined in silver beads. The centers of the flowers are clear iridescent sequins. Gown has high collar, both the top edge and bottom are trimmed with beads and sequins. also the waist line and cuffs. Inverted "V" waist line. Sleeves are long and narrow. 1950's black silk dress, scalloped neckline, cap sleeves. In both front and back their are black lace panels that are lined in pink taffeta, in front under the lace panel is a medium size silk bow. The lace panel is from the neck line to the bust in front and the neckline to the waist in back, in back their is a black silk bow at the waist, below the waist the dress has a pleated lace panel, that falls from the waist to the hem, The dress has a taffeta slip under the skirt and the original owner must have let the back seam out to make more room . It was done without any damage to the dress or slip. You can sew the seam back up or wear a black slip and it would be just fine. the skirt of this dress is straight style in front and full in the back, Back zipper, 30 inch waist, 40 inch bust, Lower calf length.
